Taylor Swift Prevails in $1 Million Legal Battle With Real Estate Agent Over $18 Million Townhouse

Taylor Swift has developed successful in a $1 million claim blaming her for screwing over a renowned New York broker, with a judge favoring the artist and tossing out the case.

On January 24, a government court judge decided that Swift had no commitment to pay commission to the operator when she got her $18 million New York townhome in 2017.

The request expresses the land operator neglected to give enough proof to back up his cases. The judge said the main affirmed contract with Swift's organization is a casual email from a worker to one of the artist's delegates.

The request says the email does not demonstrate that Swift guaranteed to pay them a seven-figure commission or that she would utilize them solely as an operator.

As The Blast initially detailed, big-time land organization Douglas Elliman sued Taylor Swift's Firefly Entertainment, asserting they got screwed out of the commission when Swift obtained a New York townhouse in 2017.

They asserted Swift "illegitimately barred" them from the $18 million deal and sued for $1,080,000 in the unpaid commission they trust they are owed.

Quick's organization requested the case be rejected, guaranteeing the specialist included orchestrated one appearing, with a delegate for the vocalist, and just given fundamental data about the property … and never had any contact with Swift until the end of time.

Very nearly nine months after the fact, Swift bought the property with another specialist. She called attention to that Elliman didn't profess to have partaken in the exchange or culmination of the deal.

The case is authoritatively shut.
